ABOUT THE HORSE
Bint Mona is a very important part of our future breeding program. When we look into the future we see her as one of our primary broodmares for producing champions. She has a lot of action, a lot of presence to her when you are around her you really know she is there for she won't let you forget it. Bint Mona has an absolutely amazing appearance and she is put together like a champion, which she is one. Alas even if she had the conformation of a donkey this mare would catch your eye from the way she carries herself. She really knows that she is a queen, and she does everything as if she was one. Even when she is moving in awkward frolicking motions through the pasture something about her speaks of beauty and grace. It's just in the amazing way she handles herself, it's as if she really thinks of herself as something more than an ordinary arabian, a mare worthy of noticing and looking at long after you should have moved on in your sightseeing. She is a wonderful horse, extremely smart she tries for you so hard it isn't funny. When you teach her things she grips it so quickly, and of course we think it helps that she has never been mistreated. A lot of times she is one of the horses first picked when we have to go check on the cattle. Even though she is an arabian she has a lot of cow sense to her and enjoys working them. Of course we are under the influence that she just enjoys to boss them around, and therefore it is an extremely enjoyable task for her. Also in Reining and Cutting she does well, with quick and precise movements she is quick to think and thinks on what you tell her and does it as good and as quickly as she can to please you. She has some of the most gorgeous stops I've seen on an arabian, I think she could match with some of the quarter horses at the NRHA. She just really has a lot of try to her. ~ former owner kayla
